Bespoke Training for Businesses through Ceata

Bespoke Training for Businesses through Ceata

Through our dedicated courses, we’ve been able to help thousands of students across the East Midlands and beyond to become valuable, skilled engineers. With our expert tutors and practitioners, we offer a wide variety of courses for each different level of engineering, with broad successes across the board.

Over recent years, we also decided to open that opportunity up to the local businesses and industries as well.

CEATA now offers help and support to businesses in the East Midlands area, through upskilling current employees, encouraging recruitment from the engineering sector and securing essential apprenticeships for younger students. Our training schemes aim to promote the idea that ‘anyone and everyone can benefit from CEATa’ and we aim to make good on that promise.

So how can CEATA benefit me as an employer?

From our short courses in welding and engineering to our NVQs in fabrication and metalwork, we can help to upskill your current employees in new and versatile areas of self-improvement. The skills we can educate are valuable, lifelong skills that can not only help to boost your overall business but also the abilities of your workers.

Our apprenticeship courses are also a great way to benefit from CEATA, as we can guarantee your company a reliable selection of employees – uniquely trained in high-quality engineering and welding. Not only does this save you time when searching for specialised workers, it also offers you the security of knowing your employees have been trained through a certified and accredited programme. We help to inspired educated and hard-working employees, ready to transition straight into your company.

How does CEATA select the students for apprenticeships?

For many of our NVQ courses, a basic qualification in English and Maths is crucial, however, we are open to all levels of learning. We are keen to work with those who are available and willing to learn, either through off-the-job training or foundation level experience. In terms of personal skills, we look out for those standout students who can prove themselves, push themselves and demonstrate to us a functional and practical understanding of the work they will need to do. Whilst good technical skills are important, we also take into workplace behaviours into consideration, monitoring attention to detail, professionalism and teamwork.
