CEATA delivers the all-new Apprenticeship Standard programmes in Engineering. Our Level 2 and Level 3 programmes can take anywhere from 24 to 48 months to complete, with the option of either day release or block release.

Engineering Technician Programme

Engineering Technician is an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, you can choose a route that best reflects the responsibilities of your job role.

Machinist (Route 9)

Mechatronics Maintenance Technician (Route 10)

Technical Support Technician (Route 13)

Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above to include English and Maths or suitable level 2 qualifications and work experience.

Metal Fabricator Programme

Metal Fabricator is an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard for learners who are in roles such as Welding and Fabrication.

Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above to include English and Maths or suitable level 2 qualifications and work experience.

Engineering Operative Programme

Engineering Operative is a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard for learners who wish to gain the skills, knowledge and behavioural competences required for an engineering operative role.

Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above to include English and Maths or suitable level 2 qualifications and work experience.
