Canal Engineering's First Female Apprentice...

Qualification: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Fabrication & Welding

Michelle came to The Ceata Training Academy as a mother of 2, with a background in hospitality and previous maintenance knowledge from repairing and operating fairground rides as part of the family business.

At Ceata, Michelle completed a 6 week training programme, which was funded by NTN and received her qualification as pictured.

Canal Engineering is proud to announce that Michelle started work in June 2015 as their first female apprentice and is currently progressing through her training learning new TIG welding techniques.

Canal Engineering looks forward what Michelle can bring to the team where she will join the currently employed apprentices who also came through the Ceata Academy programme.
